I just rang the crisis line and this terrible nurse who we used to call ‘rat’ picked up and I hung up but she rang back and I don’t know how I feel now. At one point she said ‘relax’ and I said ‘I CAN’T FUCKING RELAX’ so she said ‘I know you can’t Megan you never relax’ which was odd because she rarely says anything correct, and then later on she said ‘I know you Megan, I know you, you’ll try anything if you think it’ll help but you won’t do anything you don’t believe in’ which is also very true but she was using it in the context of this neurology appointment, where it isn’t really relevant. Oh god I don’t know, I might ring back in half an hour and hope someone different picks up. Casual lunatic hour, oh good.
